Internationally, in very developed markets like the US and Europe, this is a big industry whose services are used by most companies. This section is designed to help those people who are new to the industry to learn more through a series of commonly asked questions. What Does GRM do? GRM is a professional records and information management company. What that means is that we work with organizations to provide services that help them store, manage, track and protect their information. For example storing and managing their physical documents, or electronic data, or computer backup tapes. Is GRM an I.T. Company? GRM is not an IT company, but we do provide products, services and consulting that directly relate to IT. For example, GRM does do a lot of business continuity and risk management consulting. It is very common for us to work with IT companies or the IT director of a company to provide off site storage of backup data, rotation services for the backup data and disaster recovery related services. We also have strategic partnerships with certain IT providers to provide our services to their clients. How does GRM help companies store, manage track, and protect their information? Facilities - GRM operates out of specialized facilities called Records and Information Management Centers. Our Facilities are state of the art, specially designed and purpose built for the storage of our clients' information. People - Everyone at GRM, from the warehouse staff to the drivers, to the security team are specially trained staff, trained and employed directly by GRM. Barcode Tracking Systems - We have a specially designed SQL based barcode tracking system that allows us to keep track of any item, even an individual piece of paper, in an ocean of document boxes. This ensures accuracy and accountability. Operations Systems - Over the many years we have been in business, we have developed our own internal processes and systems for conducting operations. Security - We have a full suite of Security systems which combine manned 24 hour security, with CCTV, motion detection, electronic access control and rigid enforcement of our policies. Vehicles - GRM owns and operates its own vehicles, providing a variety of transportation services for our clients. What value does GRM provide to its client?
