	At GRM we have to take the risk of fire seriously. We store an enormous volume of paper, and our business depends on ensuring that our clients have piece of mind and know their paper and media is safe with us. We do everything in our power to prevent fire, eliminate its potential, minimize its impact were it to occur and ensure that we have the proper systems in place. Risk Mitigation GRM takes all steps to reduce fire risk. We ensure that the facility has a proximity to fire brigades, and we conduct regular, stringent risk audits focusing on fire risk in each of our facilities. Every hour of every day, our regular security patrols are on the lookout for potential risks and ensuring that all of our policies are being followed. Non-Combustible Construction GRM makes sure that our facilities are built from non combustible materials. GRM buildings are two layers of steel with fire retardant insulation between on a base of concrete. Fire Walls and Doors GRM Records Center walls and doors are fire rated. This includes the exterior facility walls, walls and doors separating office space from storage space and the walls and doors of the media vault as well as walls used to separate secure areas in some of our facilities. Sprinkler Systems GRM takes all reasonable steps in implementing fire suppression systems. The entire area of every GRM facility is covered by sprinklers suspended from ceiling. Additionally, within our racking, sprinklers are suspended from mezzanines to ensure that water can reach all levels of the racking. Our sprinkler systems are dry pipe which means that until smoke is detected by our sensors, there is no water in the system. This prevents accidental leaks that could result in water damage. Sprinklers are also zoned, meaning that sprinklers will only go off an area affected by fire and that there will be no water damage to boxes at no risk of fire. Our dual pump system is housed outside of our facility in a secure stand alone building, so that it's operation will be unaffected by fire and is designed so that a secondary pump will compensate or take over for the primary pump should there be a drop in pressure or any kind of failure. Tests and Drills At GRM, we regularly test all of our equipment and systems, ensuring that our ability to protect our clients data and making changes and modification as well as doing regular maintenance when necessary. Additionally, we conduct regular drills for our staff so that in the event or a crisis, everyone is prepared and knows what to do.
