 Within every GRM China Records Center, there is a Magnetic Media Vault to accommodate our clients' media storage needs. GRM Media Vaults meet international media preservation standards and feature a host of features designed for the protection and safeguarding of your valuable information asset. Climate and Environmental Control GRM China uses Hiross Precision Environmental Control units in all of our Media Vaults. We maintain ideals to control the temperature, relative humidity, and do dust filtration of the air within the vault. GRM China Media Vaults also feature "Air-Lock" entrance designs to prevent the mixture of air from within the vault with the air outside.
 GRM Media Vaults feature their own added security measures in order to protect our clients' sensitive media as well as to ensure compliance with the high audit requirements of some of our top tier customers. The entrance to the vault is an alarmed security door with electronic access control. Access rights for entrance to the vault are limited to managers and some supervisors, meaning that a supervisor or someone more senior must be on hand in order for any one to get access. In some cases, our vaults feature dual control access, where a manager, and a security guard, must both be on hand to access the vault. CCTV cameras featuring motion detection and infrared capabilities monitor the doorway and main aisles within the vault. From the outside, the same CCTV system monitors activity near the vault entrance. This CCTV is monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by GRM's professional security guard force. A physical inspection of the vault is performed every hour by a member of GRM's security team as part of their regular patrol.  The first line of defense against fire is that GRM China Media Vaults are within GRM Records Centers. GRM's fire prevention policies as well as advanced fire protection and suppression measures for the building make the Media Vault an especially low fire risk. The second line of defense is fire walls. The walls of the Media Vault are constructed to provide a 4 hour fire rating. This means that items within the Media Vault will be protected for 4 hours before a fire can penetrate, allowing more than sufficient time for the fire brigade to extinguish the fire and eliminate the threat. From within the vault, GRM uses FM 200 advanced fire suppression protects your information media. This is a gaseous suppression system meaning that there will be no water damage to your media.
